On Saturday October 7 I am going to launch my conceptual record Scratch Tick Pop - A Compilation of Scraps from 527 Ruined Vinyl Records by Barry van der Rijt at Kroese Nijmegen. For Scratch Tick Pop, I searched in collections of record owners for sounds that you just do not want on your vinyl: scratches, ticks and noises. Eventually I collected 527 fragments, which I then put back on a vinyl record, resulting in an equally fascinating and bizarre compilation. The launch is from 16h45 to 17h30 at Kroese Nijmegen. This is the result of the color proof for my book Exquisite Errors, today at NPN Drukkers. In order to intensify the colors we have blended fluorine. I am very excited about the results. Lithography is beautifully done by Sebastiaan Hanekroot of Colour & Books.
